my fingertips are green...

We colored eggs tonight!

Every year, I have these aspirations of creating the perfect egg...and every year, I'm utterly let down.

I'm HORRIBLE at coloring eggs.

Well, not coloring them, persay...dropping them in cups of dye isn't too difficult.

But anything more complex than that....yep, I suck.

Next year, I'm planning ahead dangit!  We had fun anyway :)  Here's a few photos we took (Beckett was going to join us this year for the first time since he was only 6 months old last easter, but he ended up going to bed super early. Next year!)

Izzie wanted to get in on some egg dying fun!

That's the love of my life :)

Hope you all have a wonderful easter!  I can't wait for Easter morning...the Easter bunny is bringing 42 eggs for the munchkins to find around the house...it's going to be AWESOME.  :)

wow...

Has it really been almost three months since I last blogged??  Someone pointed out to me that I haven't blogged in a while the other day.  I was thinking it had maybe been a few weeks, but nope!  Three. Months.

So...what's new?  A lot!  I went back to school and just started my third class (I take one class at a time for five weeks).  So far it's going well!  It's definitely a struggle juggling the kids, school, housework, and still finding enough time to crochet, but it feels really great to be doing something that is just for me.  I may complain out loud about doing my homework, but shhhhhh....deep down inside, *I like it!*  I pulled off an 87.2% in my first math class and am working on my second (and last ever) math class right now.  Yay!

Oh!  And we got a puppy!

Her name is Izzie, and she's a border collie.  She's four months old now, (two in the picture) and is so freaking adorable, I can't be mad at her very long, even when she squats and pees right in front of me.  *sigh*

This is her last night:

I just love all her little freckles :)

Crochet wise, I've been busy!  I finally got around to starting my babette:

aaaanndd that's as far as I've gotten.  I really do love it, I just have so much other stuff going on!  I've wanted to make a Babette ever since I came across the pattern on ravelry one day.  Finally, I just said, "You know what, I deserve this.  I'm ordering 17 colors dammit and it will be beautiful."  And it is :)  Now if I could just find the time to finish it........

I've been busy making lots of new hats for my etsy shop!

The last two aren't in my shop yet, but will be soon!  Nikki Van Pelt of Love Photography provided the photos.....I also made her two green and blue stocking hats (the first photo) that she's using for a twin shoot this weekend! So excited to see the photos :)

Anyway.....hope you all are doing well!  Please leave me a comment and say hello :)  I'm off for now....gotta wrangle these kiddos into bed, finish up some homework, and get to hookin'!

Good night all!
